Care Assistant Day

We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide residents with a detailed care plan and assist with all aspects of personal care during the day. Ensuring residents maintain independence and dignity, using a person‐centred approach.

Compensation & Contract
Rate of Pay: £12.43 to £13.23 per hour

Contract Type: Part time, Full time or weekends

Contract Hours: Ranging from 24 to 36 hours per week

Location: Caversham – St Lukes, Care & Wellbeing

Responsibilities

Provide care detailed in residents\’ individualised care plan using a person‐centred approach

Support residents with all aspects of personal care while maintaining and promoting independence, privacy and respect

Assist residents with meals in a dignified and respectful manner, ensuring a pleasant and calm atmosphere

Identify and meet the social, emotional and cultural needs of residents and participate in the organisation of person‐centred engagement

Support residents to use the environment to its full potential, including each home\’s outdoor living space
