ANZCO Foods Canterbury has multiple Process Worker positions available for the 2025 – 2026 season, starting in October. Relevant experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. These are day and night shift positions.
Located on Seafield Road, Ashburton, applicants must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. These full-time roles require a minimum of 30 hours per week, offering at least $705.00 per week, with potential additional earnings through allowances and piece rates. Hours may fluctuate above 30 hours depending on workflow, due to seasonal business cycles and shutdown periods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Yard duties and livestock handling
- Processing meat carcasses according to customer specifications
- Separating organs and glands from carcasses using safe knife handling practices
- Operating machinery to process, pack, and transfer carcasses or products
- Packing boned meat and meat products into cartons
- Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers
- Loading meat products into trucks
- Cleaning and sanitising work equipment and areas
