What it’s about

Partners Group is seeking to hire a Consultant Relationship Senior Support Professional to join the Client Solutions Global Consultant Relations team. The Client Solutions team at Partners Group delivers innovative private market investment solutions to institutional clients worldwide. In this position, you will be part of the Global Consultant Relations team, responsible for building and maintaining new and existing relationships with global investment consultants and their clients. This team is responsible for working with global investment consultants as they review and rate our products/strategies/platform and recommend or provide advice about Partners Group to their clients.

Specific responsibilities

  • Assist Consultant Relationship Specialists to develop and maintain world-class relationships with research and field consultants within assigned investment global consulting firms.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned global investment consulting firms including their business strategy, competitors, client roster, key decision-makers/influencers and their biases, manager selection process, and communication preferences.
  • Assist in generating buy-ratings and effectively position the firm’s investment strategies and services.
  • Provide ongoing service to answer ad-hoc requests from consultants.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners Group internal teams – specifically: Investment professionals, Marketing teams and other institutional sales members to facilitate timely responses to consultant and client requests.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for consultant research including presentations, performance reports, and RFPs.
  • Channel competitive intelligence and market information to the Global Consultants team.
  • Effectively and consistently document interaction with consultants in the firm’s CRM system.
  • Be knowledgeable on Partners Group platform, products and investment strategies across asset classes.
  • Contribute toward the strategic development and execution of the Global Consultants team business plan.

What we expect

Experience & Credentials

  • 3-6 years of relevant private market experience, especially private equity, private credit, private infrastructure and private real estate.
  • Experience working in institutional sales with exposure to investment consultants.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA, CFA, CAIA is preferred.
