West Coast Partnership Development is a trusted partner of the Department for Transport (DfT ) working towards creating and implementing operations for High Speed 2 Ltd (HS2 ). The role involves designing, developing, and mobilising high-speed service operations to deliver benefits such as increased capacity, quicker journey times, and improved customer experience.
We invite applications for the position of Governance & Reporting Coordinator WCPD within the WCPD PMO team. The successful candidate will support the Governance and Planning teams to ensure delivery compliance with contractual requirements, assurance processes, and programme standards. The role also entails working with the Programme Delivery team to ensure standards adherence, governance, quality control, and supporting process changes.
The responsibilities include maintaining the Accepted Programme, tracking deliverables, resource planning, and report management. Key duties are:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining frameworks and standards for Programme and Project Management.
- Facilitating the creation of governance slide packs, preparing agendas, and ensuring timely submission of meeting papers.
- Maintaining governance documentation across programmes and products, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborating with the Head of Delivery and Programme Delivery Manager to complete actions from assurance activities.
Risk management involves completing assurance reviews on risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and opportunities (RAIDO) with relevant stakeholders.
Performance reporting duties include working with data owners to prepare reports, supporting quality reviews, and ensuring content accuracy and readability.
Supporting continuous improvement by assessing processes, standards, and compliance, recommending enhancements, and managing ad hoc projects to improve governance and reporting efficiency.
The role requires building effective relationships with stakeholders including WCPD, AWC, HS2 Limited, DfT, Network Rail, GBRTT, consultants, and suppliers.
This position is based in London with a requirement for some travel, expecting a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
WCPD focuses on developing plans for high-speed services, including customer experience, operations, and mobilisation, as part of a 10-year programme supported by HS2 Ltd.
