We’re on the cusp of something exciting.

We are seeking a Technical Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) with a deep engineering background and a strong entrepreneurial mindset. This role is ideal for a technical founder or product-driven engineer who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to explore, validate, and potentially launch new ventures.

The Technical EIR will play a critical role in incubating new ideas, rapidly prototyping products, and supporting initial commercial opportunities.

Vision to reimagine an entire industry – even if you haven’t worked in social care before. We want you to see beyond what we’ve built so far.
Grit to build something from scratch, and to overcome obstacles
Sufficient product and tech experience to instruct and lead the development team independently.
Experience from a fast-paced & scaling startup, where you joined early enough to do the building, not just the scaling.

What You’ll Do

Venture Exploration & Prototyping : Identify, validate, and de-risk new product ideas using lean startup principles and rapid prototyping.
Technical Development : Write MVP-level code, build proof-of-concept applications, and lead initial architecture decisions.
Technology Strategy : Evaluate new technologies and frameworks that could serve as the foundation for new ventures.
Product-Market Fit : Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate toward a validated solution.
Mentorship & Technical Advisory : Support and mentor technical teams within our accelerator or portfolio companies.
Fundraising Preparation : Contribute to technical sections of investor decks and participate in early investor conversations.
Team Formation : Assist in identifying and recruiting technical co-founders or early engineering talent as needed.

Desired Experience:

Experience as a technical founder, founding engineer, or senior technical contributor in a startup environment.
Strong software development skills and experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and modern DevOps practices.
Ability to translate vague ideas into working prototypes and iterate quickly.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance technical depth with business impact.
Familiarity with lean startup methodology, customer discovery, and agile product development.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, or IoT.
Prior involvement in VC-backed startup ecosystems, innovation labs, or venture studios.
Deep interest or domain expertise in (industry-specific verticals — e.g., healthcare, fintech, climate tech, etc.).
