We are looking for Registered Nurses with a valid NMC pin number to share our mission: The home’s mission is to ‘enhance the lives of residents in their care by bringing them joy, happiness and fulfilment, by providing the highest quality of care and services, whilst always striving for excellence.’

What does the role involve? We are looking for Maternity Cover 8 - 12 Months:

  • Achieve a high standard of care.
  • Lead the care team to deliver outcomes for the people that we support.
  • Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, making accurate reports on residents and informing other members of the senior care team of day-to-day changes.
  • Wound management.
  • Ensure that care procedures are carried out according to policy.
  • Be responsible for the ordering, administration, and recording of medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
  • Provide appropriate personal care for residents, e.g., washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort.
  • Carry out staff supervision and appraisals with the team/unit allocated.
  • Implement changes in routine and/or procedures as agreed with the Manager.
  • Assess prospective clients/residents.
  • Complete the duty rota as necessary.
  • Carry out internal quality audits as agreed with the Manager.
  • Participate fully in the training and development of all staff grades.
  • Assist the Manager in working within agreed budgets – mainly Deputy Manager responsibilities.
