Job Overview: Due to the company’s growth, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a hardworking and reliable Site Fitter / Installer/ Construction Worker. As the Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker, you will join a company that works mainly with the water industry and specialise in providing complete mechanical engineering services from design and fabrication through to installation. Working as the Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker, you will be on client sites on a wide range of different projects from mechanical installations, installing steel structures and handrails. Previous experience carrying out this type of work would be highly desirable, although not essential.
DUTIES: Your duties as a Site Fitter / Installer / Construction Worker include:
- Performing mechanical installations on client sites
- Installing steel structures as part of various projects
- Fitting handrails according to project specifications
- Utilising manual hand tools for various fitting and installation tasks
- Operating power tools safely and effectively to complete work
- Travelling to and working on client sites as required
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality and safety
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven ability to use manual hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ideally, experience gained from a background in construction, the trades, engineering, or a comparable sector
- A strong work ethic and a reliable approach to tasks
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to the site-based nature of the role
- While previous experience in similar mechanical installation work would be highly advantageous, it is not strictly necessary for the right candidate
