Description
Are you confident and experienced in driving or operating farm machinery? Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your farming career and enhance your skills?
We are seeking an operator for a modern fertiliser spreader, who possesses good spatial awareness and attention to detail.

This role involves operating a multi-drive, self-propelled fertiliser spreader, applying fertilisers to various crops over a 32m spread width. Attention to detail is essential for calibrating and recording fertiliser applications, using Greenstar GPS and manual entries.
While primarily a crop-based role, for consistent hours throughout the year, additional farm duties may include:
- Header operation during harvest season (for the right candidate)
- Tractor work such as cultivation, drilling, and chaser bin operation
- Drenching and crutching of store lambs
- Moving stock and breaking fencing as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of machinery operation experience with GPS systems
- Experience working confidently with stock (sheep and cattle/bulls)
- Self-motivation and energy
- A team-oriented attitude
Flexibility with days and hours may be required to accommodate seasonal peaks. Accommodation on farm may be available.
