An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a leading automation specialist based in the Stockport area. This position has been created due to company expansion, reflecting the organisation's growth across various sectors including Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Food & Beverage.
The role promises a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same, offering a blend of in-house and on-site responsibilities, and flexible working hours offering a great work life balance.
- Hourly Rate: £17.31 + overtime at a higher rate
- Working hours: Flexible working hours - 38 hours per week (day shifts)
The Ideal Candidate
- Will have machine build experience
- NVQ or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, configure, install, and commission bespoke projects both in-house and at customer sites, adhering to specific requirements.
- Interpret engineering assembly drawings with accuracy to ensure precise machine assembly.
- Liaise between internal project teams and customers, offering technical support and resolving issues promptly.
- Provide on-site customer support, including basic training, to assist in the implementation of automation solutions.
- Maintain effective communication with project leads, delivering accurate project status updates to aid proactive planning.
In return, my client offers an hourly rate of £17.31 per hour, 33 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 35 days after 5 years and 38 after 10 years of service, pension contribution, and ongoing personal development and training.
