Our approach, which combines construction and consultancy expertise, provides clients with the technical ability, approach and techniques to allow them to make informed real-time decisions and keep projects on track.
In our ‘Consult’ engine, you’ll join a global team where we work closely with clients to understand their challenges and offer fresh ideas grounded in innovation and sustainability. We provide advisory and project delivery services, guiding clients through every phase of their projects, from initial strategy and planning to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
What you’ll do
Assist the project team in the daily control, management and coordination of construction activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the required safety, environmental and quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Producing and monitoring short-term programmes
- Reading programme and design drawings and administering daily progress records
- Contributing to package, coordination, safety and site progress meetings
- Ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel
- Assisting Construction Managers with various elements of the build
- Establishing key relationships with trade contractors
You will also work towards gaining professional membership of a professional association, fully funded and supported by us. Options include the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Association of Project Management (APM), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

About you
A future or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in any subject. 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications). Given the nature of our work, flexibility is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential. Mace offers travel expense reimbursements for business travel, including mileage, public transport fares, and, where necessary, accommodation.
