Axcis are working closely with a lovely little nursery school in the Erdington area which has a support staff vacancy for a teaching assistant with experience of working with children with SEND needs. The role is based in the nursery school class, working with 3-4 year olds with varying SEND needs within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a full-time role on an ongoing basis, the school is looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant looking for a school with a strong community spirit.
- Supporting pupils with SEND needs
- Supporting children develop through the EYFS
- Working on a one to one and small group basis within a nursery class of 3-4 year olds
- Working alongside the nursery class teacher and the play worker
- Full time (8:30am β 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
- Ongoing basis, starting ASAP
Requirements:
- Experience of working with individuals with SEND needs β Essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or weβre happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position β Essential
- Minimum of 2 good references β Essential
- Experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework - Desirable
