Salary: £13 - £14 per hour
This is a key customer-facing Quality Engineering role responsible for ensuring Submerged Products meet product and performance quality requirements for successful customer acceptance and system deployment.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Using dedicated tools and database facilities, ensure that all Submerged Products produced are manufactured in accordance with defined procedures and meet contractual test specifications and requirements.
- Generate product performance metrics and information for customer-facing quality reviews, product or factory audits to support acceptance activities.
- Ensure that procedures concerning management of non-conformities are followed to guarantee that manufactured assemblies and final products conform to requirements.
Required Experience and Education:
- Some experience working with quality.
- A strong background in electronics and related technologies, ideally with test measurement and/or calibration experience.
- Knowledge of fault diagnosis methods and investigation procedures is desirable; training will be provided.
- Experience in dealing with high volumes of numerical data for analysis during acceptance processes; strong PC skills are required.
- High attention to detail, with knowledge of quality auditing methods.
