Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 DOE
Role Overview: Head of Marketing Strategy
Our client, a well-established leading technology provider, is seeking a commercially focused and results-driven Head of Marketing Strategy . You will take full ownership of our client\’s digital marketing strategy, with complete autonomy over the digital marketing operations, including e-commerce, online webshop performance, SEO effectiveness, and broader digital campaign delivery.
This role is crucial for driving ecommerce growth, generating qualified leads, and elevating the digital presence of companies within the group and its associated brands.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital and strategic marketing, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and possess a deep understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimisation, and data-driven campaign management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and refine the company\’s end-to-end digital marketing strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
- Take full ownership of webshop performance, including conversion optimisation, product visibility, merchandising, and customer journey improvements.
- Own the company\’s SEO strategy and performance to drive organic growth and lead generation.
- Manage and optimise Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid media channels to maximise ROI.
- Oversee email marketing, CRM segmentation, and automation for lead nurturing and customer retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, technical) to align digital efforts with business goals.
- Monitor and report on performance using tools like Google Analytics (including GA4), HubSpot, and others.
- Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and digital partners as needed.
- Lead initiatives for A/B testing, CRO, and user experience improvements across digital platforms.
Requirements:
As Head of Marketing Strategy, you will demonstrate:
- 5+ years of proven leadership in digital marketing or ecommerce-focused roles, preferably within IT hardware, technology, or B2B sectors.
- Experience in owning and optimising webshop performance with a focus on revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, technical SEO, and content-led optimisation strategies.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta/LinkedIn Campaign Manager, WordPress, and HubSpot.
- Skilled in using GA4 and other analytics tools to interpret performance and guide decisions.
- Ability to lead strategy while executing day-to-day campaign tasks when needed.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- A proactive mindset suited to a fast-moving, target-driven environment.
