About the Role AWE is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to lead professional engineering services, supporting the upkeep of assets and equipment necessary for mission delivery. Location and Package Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire Salary: £47,690 – £66,000, depending on experience and suitability Responsibilities Apply extensive knowledge in system design, standards, and performance throughout the asset lifecycle. Interpret and execute complex tasks including troubleshooting, reporting, design, and commissioning. Lead and advise engineering teams on innovative solutions. Manage risks associated with engineered systems and structures. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and safety standards. Support performance management and team development. Potentially undertake roles such as Appointed Person or Asset Change Manager. Candidate Requirements Experience in leading engineering projects in regulated industries such as oil & gas, aerospace, or chemical sectors. Knowledge of facility engineering and maintenance lifecycle. Experience with electrical building services, including LV/HV, HVAC, and UPS systems.
