We are looking for a Care Assistant who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience. As a Care Assistant, you will need to be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment as well as have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team.
The Role:
- To support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents, by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
- Respect each individual’s uniqueness and support them in making informed choices to live the life they desire, in accordance with their person-centred care plans.
- Promote the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring that their physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs are met inclusively.
- This includes facilitating social, educational, and recreational activities such as visits with family and friends, walks, and other activities of their choice.
- Ensure the health and safety of all individuals in your care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parkland’s policies and procedures.
