WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Our role as a Channel team is to provide the insight to improve our channel journeys, giving our customers a better choice of channel to best meet their needs. Within Channel Insight, we play a pivotal role in providing action-oriented insight, which is essential in driving the strategy of channel migration to digital and marketing-led channels.
You will be extracting, segmenting, and analyzing data, building out the insight recommendations through numeric reasoning that helps deliver the digital strategy. Using several different tools predominantly Adobe Analytics and SQL to access web data within our data warehouse. Your ability to collaborate with others, generate insight, convert into recommendations, and present to a senior audience will really set you up to succeed!
As a Data & Analytics Strategy Manager in the Channel Insight team, you will be responsible for:
- Support delivery of key Group strategic objectives to grow BCB digital channels
- Web-based analytics - using Adobe Analytics to understand customer behavior within our digital journeys and identifying optimization opportunities
- Utilizing data visualization skills to develop self-serve reporting for colleagues focused on journey development
- Working with platform teams to ensure tagging is at the required level
- Review performance of new initiatives and capability against a range of criteria to determine success and next steps
This is not an ETL role; the focus will be on numeric analytics to help drive business decisions. You will already have some experience in web analytics (we use Adobe, but experience in other web analytics tools will also be acceptable). You will have some analysis experience using a complex and large relational database (e.g., Teradata etc.) along with an appropriate scripting or programming skill for data extraction such as SQL, SAS, R etc. We would also love to see your track record in using data and insight to influence analytics to develop practical insight and confidence in telling stories through data. Strong partnering and communication skills to deliver your recommendations are essential.
At Lloyds Banking Group, we are driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses, and communities. With us, you will have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you will have many opportunities to learn, grow, and develop.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Ownership of a portfolio of products at the center of the business transformation, building your knowledge of the BCB business and associated growth initiatives
- Opportunity to build your network across the breadth of BCB and beyond
- Exposure to senior leadership across Digital Banking, Analytics & Propositions, and wider BCB
- Stretching and broadening your leadership capabilities including critical thinking, influencing, and storytelling
- Job satisfaction and purpose within a role aligned to driving forward our data and digitization agenda to meet our client and business needs
About Working For Us: Our focus is to ensure we are inclusive every day, building an organization that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity, or culture. We were one of the first major organizations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative. And it is why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We are disability confident. So if you would like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know. We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
- A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
- An annual performance-related bonus
- Share schemes including free shares
- Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
- 30 days' holiday, with bank holidays on top
- A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
