We are currently seeking an experienced Litho Machine Operator to join our team at our modern printing facility in Shaftesbury, North Dorset. The successful candidate will operate high-quality litho printing machinery, including Komori Advance GL540+C and Komori HUV GL540+C, ensuring production meets ISO 12647 standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate Komori presses efficiently according to KPI standards.
- Produce print jobs matching high-resolution proof or ISO 12647 standards.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Maintain and record press maintenance activities.
- Pass sheet approval processes.
- Monitor job progress by pulling running sheets and timestamping.
- Label finished pallets and organize files accordingly.
- Ensure consistent quality throughout the print run.
- Participate in training sessions as required.
Required Skills:
- Qualifications or relevant experience in printing technology.
- Proven experience operating litho printing machinery, preferably Komori or similar.
This position involves 12-hour shifts on a 3-week rotation, from Monday to Saturday.
