I am currently recruiting for a part-qualified accountant to join a growing and evolving accountancy practice in East Devon on a full-time basis. Please review the job description below, and if this role is of interest to you please do apply using the link below.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing accounts for various business types (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders)
- Contribute to tax compliance tasks, such as corporation tax return preparation
- Support clients with accounting and tax enquiries
- Help with audit processes under the supervision of a qualified accountant
- Manage bookkeeping for clients and prepare VAT returns
- Advise clients on improving their accounting systems
- Maintain a strong understanding of current accounting standards and best practices
- Continuously develop technical skills through on-the-job experience and professional qualifications
