Our client is a well-established niche construction products company with a strong brand servicing a global market from a single site in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. They manufacture a premium heavily engineered high-quality product range which sells through architect specifiers into luxury developments.

As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be an integral part of the sales team. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible as part of the sales team for email, website, and telephone enquiries, resolving sales and technical queries.
  • Providing sales admin support, creating quotes, inputting and updating orders, and advising on product range suitability, specifications, delivery, and availability.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within technical internal sales or have worked on a trade counter within engineering or construction products, or be a raw graduate engineer looking for their first move into a customer-facing environment with a defined progression route. There will be plenty of product training in the role.

Salary level is from £27,000 - £29,500 depending on experience plus extensive benefits.
