A well-established precision engineering company based in Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join its team. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform first-off, final, and first article inspections of CNC milled prismatic components, CNC turned machined parts, and fully assembled products to aerospace standards.
  • Identify and rectify errors on workshop documentation (works order cards).
  • Interpret and work from 2D technical drawings and model definitions.
  • Operate CMMs and various electronic and manual measuring instruments.
  • Ensure timely and effective root cause and corrective action processes.
  • Conduct quality reviews and participate in internal QMS audits.
  • Manage both internal and external calibration systems.

  • Previous experience in a precision engineering or aerospace workshop environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality.
