About the role
Do you love variety, flexibility, and problem solving? Join our unique in-house maintenance team supporting our Bracknell campus by delivering planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Your role contributes significantly to the maintenance objectives plan.
Salary: £25,500 - £34,100 plus a 20% shift premium (calculated on the pay range minimum of £23,892).
Contract type: Permanent.
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, alternating weeks of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.
Call out: Weekly emergency call-out and out-of-hours cover on a rota basis.
Overtime: Available subject to workload.
Location: Bracknell Head Office.
Key responsibilities
- Complete minor maintenance requests as directed by line manager.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within capabilities and qualifications.
- Maintain campus buildings to high standards within financial constraints.
- Report maintenance issues outside capabilities through line manager.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Support the business in delivering the Partnership carbon reduction programme.
Essential skills/experience
- Competency in DIY skills: Locksmith, Carpentry, Plumbing, Decorating, Plastering, Tiling, Flooring repairs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Competent working at height.
- IT skills relevant to role requirements.
Desirable skills/experience
- Full UK driving license.
- Previous experience in the building trade.
