Job Summary:
As part of the multidisciplinary ACCS Integrated Team, the Lead Engagement Partner supports adults with mental health challenges by incorporating advanced clinical interventions. The role involves delivering evidence-based interventions, advocating for Persons, and helping them develop goals for greater independence and improved quality of life. This is an exempt position.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervised at the discretion of the ACCS Clinical Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
- Integrate evidence-based practices such as SBIRT, Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Seeking Safety, and TREM into engagement and treatment planning.
- Participate in engagement team meetings for persons with complex clinical needs.
- Use recovery-oriented language and principles in all interactions.
- Support daily living skills, including medication management, community safety, and personal care.
- Collaborate with care providers and assist with appointments and community activities.
- Work with the Housing Coordinator to meet licensing standards and support positive tenancy.
- Mentor colleagues and provide crisis assessment and intervention as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s).
- Strong commitment to community living and support for individuals with mental health challenges.
- Understanding of clinical concepts and de-escalation skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Medication administration certification within 3 months, CPR and First Aid certifications within 3 months.
- Physical ability to assist individuals with mobility impairments.
- Valid driver’s license preferred. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply, with pay differentials for fluency in certain languages.
