Working Pattern - Full time, part time: All-year-round and term-time positions available. The provision will operate from 7.45 to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay scale - Grade B to C depending on qualifications

Are you keen to be involved in the development of a new early years provision? The governors of Plym Bridge Nursery School & Day Care are delighted to announce a number of vacancies at our thriving school to support staffing for the newly opening 0-18 month room as an extension to our current 0-3 years Day Care offer in September 2025. We welcome applications from practitioners holding a minimum of Level 2 early years qualification.

What skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience of working with early years children is essential and a minimum of level two early years qualification.
  • We are looking to employ new staff who work well as part of a team and are clear about how to support and develop children's wellbeing and progress under the guidance of the Day Care manager.
  • Candidates will have the ability to form positive relationships with young children quickly and be excited at the prospect of being involved in the development of the new provision within our thriving nursery school.

Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Plym Bridge Nursery School & Day Care. All applicants will be expected to disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery. Prior to joining, you will need to clear a fully enhanced DBS check.
