The Role
Vospers is recruiting a SMART Repair Technician to cover repairs at our Truro dealership.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Carrying out cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles.
- Act as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician undertaking all aspects of the repair as required.
- Work effectively to achieve Departmental targets.
- Use PPE and adhere to health and safety requirements during repairs.
- Follow manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Produce administration or supporting documentation in line with company process.
- Ensure timely repair completion adhering to defined timeframes.
Qualifications/Skills
- Must have a valid UK driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Smart Repairer, Multi Skilled Technician, or in a related role such as Painter or MET Technician.
- Industry recognised qualification is advantageous.
- Strong team player with self-motivation.
- Maintain high standards and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Salary: Dependent on Experience and Qualifications, to be discussed at interview.
Hours: To be discussed at interview; may include Saturdays on a rota basis.
