Eville and Jones are seeking Veterinarians, who still need to work on their English level, to join our Vet Track route as VetTrack MHI (trainee OV)! If you want to start a career in the UK, have a degree in veterinary medicine from an accredited University, and IELTS UKVI level 5, and are looking to work within animal welfare and UK food safety, we would love to hear from you! We have vacancies across the UK and will help you become RCVS registered and reach the required IELTS level, with a bespoke English tuition programme and cover for your visa sponsorship and fees. Our unbeatable employment packages also include: Excellent starting salary with enhancement opportunities Full training Initial temporary paid accommodation for the induction A company car Company laptop and phone A dedicated onboarding partner to support your journey to the UK This is a varied role and some of your duties will be as below: Ante Mortem (AM) Inspection, Animal Welfare and Animal Identification Assist the OV in purely practical tasks as defined in the MOC. Verify that animals are properly identified and take any necessary actions. Post Mortem (PM) Inspection, Specified Risk Material (SRM) & Animal By Products (ABP) Carry out post-mortem inspection for detection of abnormalities of all carcasses and offal presented. Identify and put aside uncommon conditions for further inspection by the OV. Verify FBO’s compliance with TSE regulations and SRM controls. Verify that carcass meat and offal rejected as unfit is removed, stored and disposed of. Maintain an accurate record of post-mortem inspections and findings. Health and Identification Marking Apply the health mark in accordance with the legislation. Verify the FBO application of the identification mark.
