Full-time, temporary position

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess Tax Liability: Obtain and evaluate information to determine local taxation liability, including the application of discounts, reliefs, and exemptions in line with legislation.
  • Database Management: Accurately update and maintain revenues databases to ensure timely and correct billing, collection, and recovery of accounts.
  • Customer Service: Respond to enquiries from citizens, businesses, and agents, and process amendments to accounts with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Debt Recovery: Negotiate and agree repayment plans, considering individual circumstances while ensuring effective collection.
  • Service Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of working practices, procedures, and documentation to enhance service delivery and performance.
  • Team Support: Participate in training or coaching colleagues, either one-to-one or in formal training settings, such as assisting with the induction of new staff.
