We are recruiting for a creative and driven Social Media and Marketing Assistant. This is a newly created role, offering a blank canvas to develop and implement social media strategies that enhance brand presence and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each social media platform.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback, responding promptly to enhance community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure social media campaigns meet objectives.
  • Analyze performance to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to keep our brand relevant.
  • Assist in managing public relations efforts through social media channels to promote a positive brand image.

Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and their application to social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also be self-motivated and proactive.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that capture audience interest.
