We are recruiting for a creative and driven Social Media and Marketing Assistant. This is a newly created role, offering a blank canvas to develop and implement social media strategies that enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each social media platform.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback, responding promptly to enhance community engagement.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure social media campaigns meet objectives.
- Analyze performance to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies to keep our brand relevant.
- Assist in managing public relations efforts through social media channels to promote a positive brand image.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and their application to social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also be self-motivated and proactive.
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that capture audience interest.
