Mechanical Supervisor – Basildon / London Position Overview A leading construction and engineering company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Supervisor. The successful candidate will manage on-site labour resources to ensure the effective installation of mechanical and plumbing services systems, meeting project construction schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This role includes overseeing all site-related activities and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Labour and Resource Management: * Supervise and coordinate on-site labour to deliver projects on time and within budget. * Plan and execute long-term and daily work schedules. * Ensure the efficient acquisition, delivery, and management of site equipment and tools. * Health and Safety Compliance: * Implement and manage project-specific RAMS, HAVS, and toolbox talks. * Develop and measure on-site health and safety performance. * Ensure compliance with company health and safety systems, reporting incidents, near misses, and subcontractor performance monthly. * Project Coordination and Reporting: * Oversee the installation of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring quality and adherence to the construction program. * Maintain accurate logs, registers, and records for site activities. * Collaborate with the Project Manager to provide updates on resource allocation, performance, profitability, and potential risks.
