Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £35k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor to join their well-established and professional outfit. They have a strong presence throughout Scotland and an excellent reputation within the industry. Applicants must have previous or current experience within a Legionella Risk Assessing role and must be able to comfortably converse about industry guidelines. They are offering excellent salaries and packages, including further training and pension schemes.

Experience / Qualifications:

  1. You must have experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessing on domestic hot & cold systems.
  2. It would be beneficial to also have experience with closed systems, cooling towers, and steam boilers.
  3. Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessing.
  4. Knowledgeable in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
  5. Ideally will have experience undertaking Water Hygiene duties.
  6. Good written ability.
  7. IT literate.

The Role:

  1. You will be undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 standards.
  2. Writing detailed risk assessment reports to outline found risks and recommended remedial action.
  3. Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  4. Discussing risk assessment findings directly with clients and answering any technical issues.
  5. Travelling as per clients’ requirements.
  6. Representing the company in a professional manner.
  7. Training new members of staff.
