About the Role
Our ethos is to fix things for good, and to assist in making sure our 2 paper machines and 7 converting lines are working as efficiently as possible, and our site infrastructure projects and works are completed. Our day-based technical teams support the shift teams and help deliver on planned maintenance, managing breakdowns and on continuous improvement activities. This large manufacturing site is complex and has the following key engineering areas:
- Facilities Maintenance
- Paper making (2 machines)
- Converting hall (7 lines)
- De-ink pulp preparation areas
- Automated warehouse facility
All require experts in their fields of engineering to run smoothly and efficiently. If you believe you have the skills to help us achieve this, and want to further your career, then apply today!
We’re looking for people who embody our values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. We’re always looking for ways to improve our products and ourselves. If this is you, we’d love to talk.
What You Will Do
As an engineering expert, you will help deliver on all preventative maintenance activities, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and collaborating with colleagues internally to improve machine efficiencies/ site infrastructure from a technical perspective. We focus on safety, as well as quality of product and delivery. You will be key in working towards Key Performance Indicators as part of the support technical team.
Who You Are
If you have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in your area of technical expertise (eg: Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering) and either an HNC or equivalent relevant experience, then we would be interested in hearing from you. It would be beneficial (though not essential) to have similar large scale machinery or industrial experience, and have worked on PPM and with a root cause analysis approach to finding solutions.
