Duties:

  • To provide assistance to individuals in line with their person-centred support plans, which outline their requirements and preferences.
  • In accordance with safeguarding policy, to show a dedication to the protection of adults and to identify and report any disclosure, suspicion, or proof of harm, risk of harm, abuse, or neglect.
  • To support frequent monitoring and assessment in order to make sure that assistance plans take into account the clients’ evolving needs and desires.
  • To support and empower the clients to take an active role in their local and global communities.
  • To assist individuals in forming or preserving wholesome familial bonds and a variety of friendships.
  • To assist individuals with every facet of their everyday lives, such as grocery shopping, cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, and bill payment.
  • To provide respectful and dignified personal care, as necessary.
  • To assist people in maintaining their health and safety while adhering to medical professionals’ advice when necessary.
  • Must correctly finish all paperwork, including customer records.
  • To effectively communicate both orally and in writing with coworkers, family, and other professionals.
  • Must promptly voice any issues with the customers or the practice.
  • To guarantee that the necessary financial checks are finished.
  • To help people find paid work and volunteer opportunities.
  • Must participate in team meetings, individual supervision meetings, and induction training as needed.

  • To complete the necessary coursework and obtain SSSC registration within the allotted time frames.
