Role Summary
The Avionic Mechanic is responsible for carrying out avionic maintenance tasks, aircraft wiring installations, and modification embodiment/testing.
Accountability
- Ensure work is completed according to the latest technical data.
- Maintain high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Organize and execute work efficiently within their area of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform electrical and avionic maintenance tasks as directed by the Licensed Engineer, ensuring correct documentation.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the hangar and workshops, paying attention to designated work areas.
- Follow all relevant company and Health & Safety procedures.
- Ensure contract staff are properly instructed, briefed, and adhere to quality systems.
- Raise work cards and requisitions as directed.
- Maintain company vehicles, tooling, and equipment in good condition.
- Perform any additional duties as required by the Deputy Head of Maintenance.
Authorities
- Request assistance or provide support to the Hangar Supervisor, Deputy Head of Maintenance, and Head of Maintenance.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
