Facilities: They are a privately owned first opinion practice with 2 branches covering a variety of services. One branch is more surgically focused (BOAS, Entropion, C-section, Mass removal, Spays, Castrations), while the other is a typical practice that also sees some exotics and provides orthopaedics alongside general procedures (Dentals, neutering, lump removals, etc). They have well-equipped practices including 3 surgeries per branch, digital radiography, in-house lab, ultrasound, and dental equipment, a dedicated cat and dog ward, and isolation for infectious cases.
Role: Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a team of 6 Vets, 7 RVN/SVNs, and 2 kennel assistants.
Hours:
- Full-time, 5-day week preferred but open to 3 or 4 days
- No OOH required
- 1:3 Saturdays (possibly 1:4)
- Must be comfortable with most aspects of general practice – both consulting and surgery
Provide high-quality clinical care to all pets while ensuring an outstanding client experience and maintaining an efficient clinic. Diary is sensibly managed, allowing for timely departures with consults finishing half an hour before the end of the shift, and time factored into the day for case work-ups and phone calls.
Salary: Up to £90,000 p/a DOE & Hours
