As a Pharmacist at our hospital, you’ll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have proven post-qualification experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with patients and clinical staff.
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimising medication therapy and promoting safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug use within the hospital. The role involves direct patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes and minimise medication-related problems.
As a Pharmacist, you will:
- Join our talented multidisciplinary team
- Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital
- Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where needed
- Offer services to departments including pre-assessment, outpatient, wards, and theatres
- Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate patients on proper medication use
- Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilization reviews
- Document clinical interventions and outcomes
- Provide drug information and training to staff and patients
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and standards
- Participate in quality improvement, audits, and medication safety programs
- Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
As a Pharmacist, you will have:
