Role/Department
The First Line of Defense - Operational Resilience Senior Consultant will support the Operational Resilience Program, overseeing, reporting, and executing related initiatives across the Enterprise. The role involves working with resilience team leads and business units to enhance risk and control frameworks and guide stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and align Important Business Service capabilities based on impact and strategic importance.
- Lead in business dependency oversight, monitor risks and vulnerabilities, report to risk committees, investigate issues, and track remediation actions.
- Support review and oversight of compliance with Operational Risk Policies and Standards.
- Lead project deliverables considering risks and resources.
- Support colleagues with less experience.
- Monitor and analyze the impact of changes on resiliency planning and educate responsible parties on associated risks and actions.
Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of operational resiliency, business continuity management, disaster recovery, and governance mechanisms.
- Practical experience applying these concepts.
- Understanding of risk management practices in Financial Services, including regulation impacts.
- Knowledge of resiliency regulations and jurisdictional requirements.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and produce actionable insights.
- Experience with complex, multi-year change programs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience working in dynamic, ambiguous environments and autonomously.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Power BI and Power Automate.
