Accounts Payable Assistant – About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you\’ll play a key role in managing invoices, expenses, and supplier relationships while driving process improvements that boost accuracy, efficiency, and team performance. Main responsibilities will include:

• Accurately process high volumes of invoices in multiple currencies.
• Resolve queries, whilst maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Reconcile AP ledger to statements, process supplier payments (including foreign currencies), and cashflow management.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment on all purchase invoices, including employee expenses and international transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have

• Previous experience in an Accounts or Finance role
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with data
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong team-working skills
