My client, a privately owned manufacturer of plastic and composite components for global brands in automotive, aerospace, medical, and related sectors, is hiring a proactive Head of Maintenance & Facilities Management to lead two manufacturing sites, improve efficiency, and drive strategic, long-term improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead two maintenance teams and a facilities team, driving a high-performance culture.
- Develop maintenance standards using KPIs, predictive technologies, and best practices.
- Harmonise processes across both sites to improve efficiency and resource utilisation.
- Implement and manage CMMS systems and explore automation.
- Manage 650k+ annual maintenance budget, identifying cost savings and CAPEX.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE and PUWER standards while promoting safety culture.
Experience and skillset – Head of Maintenance & Facilities
- Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in manufacturing maintenance with 5+ years in leadership.
