The Audit Director will lead the audit department while expanding their expertise through collaboration on transactional services assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and financial advisory. This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional with strong leadership skills and a desire to broaden their scope of work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the audit process for a diverse client portfolio
  • Managing all phases of audit assignments
  • Working closely with the transactional services team on high-impact projects
  • Driving business development initiatives
  • Mentoring audit staff
  • Liaising with partners and clients to ensure exceptional service and contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth

The firm provides a diverse range of services, including managing market transactions for high-net-worth individuals, sole traders, family-owned businesses, and medium to large UK and international companies across the Official List, AIM, and AQSE markets. Its Music & Entertainment Team represents prominent international sports professionals, musicians, entertainers, and other renowned figures from stage, screen, radio, and press. The Business Process Outsourcing Department serves over 70 global head offices, utilizing cutting-edge technological advancements. Additionally, the Tax Practice offers comprehensive solutions for both private clients and international tax needs. The firm’s primary objective is to deliver exceptional professional services across these key areas.

What You’ll Need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive post-qualification experience in a UK-based audit environment
  • Previous experience at the Director level, or a Senior Manager with a proven track record ready to step up
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and experience leading and mentoring teams
  • Interest in expanding expertise into transactional services is highly desirable
