Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a leading KBB manufacturer who are looking for an Internal Business Developer to join their team based in Manchester. Salary: Paying £25,000 basic, plus bonus (£30,000 OTE). Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. Office based. You will be developing high quality leads and new business accounts as well as managing and developing existing accounts. You will play a fundamental part in building and developing successful, long-standing business relationships with new customers. Targeting local developers, kitchen trade professionals and small local builders. The Role: – Generating new business through proactively contacting high quality leads to secure new business. – Building, developing and growing existing (nil and low spending) accounts. – Contacting accounts and potential customers via phone/email to establish rapport and set up meetings. – Managing leads and arranging appointments for the External Business Developer. – Working closely with the External Business Developer. – Creating, submitting and following up quotes to customers. – Developing relationships with new and existing accounts/customers. – Responsible for the internal management of new customer business. – Dealing with customer enquiries on products, pricing, delivery and schedules. – Completing pricing comparison against competitors to ensure win in the market share. – Maintaining CRM systems, ensuring up to date and accurate at all times. – Managing incoming and outgoing calls to a high-quality business standard. – Achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual targets. – Administrative duties. Candidate Requirements: – Proven track record in new business development. – Experience as a Kitchen Designer or within the KBB industry (advantageous). – Sales and target driven. – Must be able to build and develop strong customer relationships. – Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels. – Enthusiastic and high-energy, with plenty of charisma and an excellent attitude towards customer service. – Attention to detail, confident and pro-active. – Ability to prioritise workload effectively with strong organisational skills. – Exceptional communication, negotiation and customer service skills. – Computer literate Simon Acres Recruitment are acting as the employment agency in relation to this vacancy
