This role is responsible for the annual Fiscal and 3 Year strategy and implementation across Online (own brand Web and E-Retailers) resulting in delivering the net sales, market share, profit, customer experience, optimal distribution network and investment choices, in line with the total brand strategy. The role is also responsible for leading and managing the Performance Marketing & Customer Care team in UK & Ireland.

What Will You Do?

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting and achieving the Fiscal net sales and profit targets for the Ecommerce Channel – Web and E-Retailers.
  • Working in defining the UK&I Ecommerce Channel plan to support growth, Brand equity and elevation, defining clear categorization and investment choices of the distribution network.
  • Budget management: propose net sales and profit targets at annual budget review and at Reforecast gateways, propose and manage OPEX lines including Web Operations, Web Performance Marketing, Web Partner Advertising and Salary + Bens.
  • Online distribution: identify 3YP strategy to prioritise areas of brand equity and growth to drive Brand.com and priority retailer partners, Identify and action rationalisation and exits where required
  • Accelerate UK&I Brand.com website, to an optimum levels setting and achieving recruitment, retention, sales, traffic, conversion and ATV KPIs
  • Improve Brand.com as a flagship brand elevation platform in user experience, technology and site optimisation
  • Leverage best in class Performance Marketing including Search, Affiliates, Social Commerce
  • Promotional calendar on-line, to drive traffic and conversion, whilst directionally reducing promotions as per Budget Plan targets and ensuring an omnichannel approach with Retail, Web Partners, Wholesale and E&O management for Web
  • P&L creation, management, analytics and reporting across Web and Web Partners
  • Elevate priority partners as a source of growth, consumer reach and marketing platform including Sephora and Amazon
  • Responsible for best in class Customer Care, identifying key areas of total brand opportunity for improvement using insight reporting
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to achieve full omnichannel consumer engagement, strong ROAS and aligned investment choices in line with brand strategy
  • Alignment of inventory demand and sales plan through accurate forecasting of saleable and non-saleable with Marketing, Retail and Supply Chain, with a specific focus on forecast accuracy and sustainable local purchasing
  • Partner with EMEA regional team and International on-site optimisation, technology and innovation
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends across Online
  • Management of Agencies within performance marketing, including contract reviews

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Strong, collaborative relationship management is essential to the success of the role with extensive liaison with Functional Leadership peers and stakeholders in the Regional, International offices, Retailers and external agencies and suppliers
  • Proven experience in Budget Planning, Trading, Merchandising, Performance Marketing, Retailer negotiations, marketing and relationships, Online Distribution
  • A progressive, inspiring and inclusive leadership style
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities within ambiguity and unlock insight-driven creativity
  • Impactful presenter, able to convey strategies and programmes effectively across different audiences and gain buy in across stakeholders at national and international level across conferences, retailer strategy meetings, round table and business review meetings
  • Demonstrate both a creative and commercial mind-set;
