The Central Portfolio Office (CPO) at GSTT plays a key role in the Trust's strategic transformation, managing change projects to realize the vision of 'Better, faster, fairer healthcare for all.' The Trust is engaged in a significant capital program involving digital technology, medical equipment, estates, and broader healthcare transformation initiatives in the UK.

Your role involves providing business partner support to one or more Clinical Groups, collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to shape and implement change portfolios. Candidates should have experience managing complex change programs and a proven record of successful delivery. A passion for healthcare innovation and transformation, along with strong organizational and communication skills, are essential.

Major Programmes

The Trust manages several large strategic programmes, designated as Major Programmes, overseen by a dedicated board committee. The successful candidate will support these programme teams within their respective clinical groups.

Portfolio Management

You will assist Portfolio Management in clinical groups by working with leadership teams to develop and oversee change portfolios.

Benefits Management

You will support clinical groups in benefits management and realization, including creating high-quality business cases early in projects and providing ongoing support and challenge on benefits realization post-implementation.

CPO Team

The role requires active participation across the CPO team, including line managing junior staff and offering peer support to team members.
