Job description Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities. Responsibilities – Personal care needs – Management of saliva/secretions (suction machine has been ordered). – Management of PEG feeds and flushes. – Monitoring of weight due to weight loss. – Continence care. – Management of skin integrity. – Full assistance with moving and handling ensuring risk assessment is followed. – Anticipation of all needs. – Reassurance and management of distress. – Administration of medications via PEG. – Monitoring of pain – On-going therapy for management of posture. – Night time needs. – Assistance with hydrotherapy Requirements Minimum 2 Years Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant (required) Minimum 1 year experience with Brain injury / spinal injury (required) Minimum 1 year experience with Peg feeding (required) A valid UK driving licence with vehicle (required) A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable i…
