This role will be responsible for the operation of the Vinyl unit systems, demonstrating responsibility for quality in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, and participating in training and qualification for future roles.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, efficient, high-quality, and environmentally sound operation of the unit.
- Perform operational activities in the Vinyl unit.
- Observe, record data readings, and maintain proper levels, temperatures, pressures, and flows.
- Write work orders as needed and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform sampling and testing of process materials.
- Manage the dryer and utility areas in the boiler and water plant.
- Work independently and collaboratively as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must score Gold or above on the ACT WorkKeys test.
Physical Demands
Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds with specific vision capabilities.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with dust, outdoor elements, and high noise levels. Use of PPE required. May involve travel, including air and auto travel.
