We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telesales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with existing and prospective pet trade customers, including independent pet retailers, garden centers, grooming businesses, and pet supply stores, to drive sales and promote our product range.
This role is based at our Head Office in Blackburn working Monday - Friday between the hours of either 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Role:
- Maintain and build relationships with existing Pet Trade and Pet Retail customers
- Develop new business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Make outbound calls to customers across the UK
- Promote our range of products and brands, highlighting benefits and promotions
- Maintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat sales
- Listen and understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Handle objections confidently and close sales effectively
- Maintain and update the customer database
- Collaborate with internal teams to support seasonal and promotional campaigns
Key attributes and skills:
- Proven telesales experience ideally gained from a similar Pet / Consumer Goods environment
- Experience in the pet trade or knowledge of pet-related products is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in cold-calling and building rapport over the phone
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Comfortable with Excel, CRM software and sales reporting tools.
