Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) Division

We are Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) and currently active in more than 50 countries. Our main production location is in the UK, with plans in place to realize a second production location in Asia. Our R&D and technical centres are already in all three territories: Americas, Asia and Europe.

Our target for the F&SSS division is to become the market leader in the in‑mold electronics space for the automotive industry. It capitalizes on emerging trends in human‑machine interfaces, displays and in‑mold electronics. The division combines our extensive offering of speciality films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing portfolio of flexible and formable conductive and non‑conductive inks. The combination of these products with our in‑depth materials and process expertise enables our customers to create formed, structurally rigid three‑dimensional automotive controls and displays that are at the forefront of modern cockpit aesthetics and functionality. The Role

We have fantastic opportunities for Production Operators to join us at our manufacturing site in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Working in one of the three areas of our production facility, you will play a key part in the manufacture of technological products for our worldwide business.

Previous production experience isn\’t necessary; we offer full training and the opportunity to progress your career.

We\’d love to hear from you if you\’ve had previous work experience in other industries such as retail or warehousing. We\’re looking for keen, ambitious individuals who would like to apply their previous experience in our production facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a pedestrian and / or high‑lift forklift truck where applicable.
• Operate machinery in accordance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety Policies.
• Report defective equipment and all accidents and breakages.
• Carry out QC tests / inspection where appropriate and report any deviations to the Supervisor.
• Report safety and quality issues through the 1B and 1Q systems.
• Report all production transactions to SAP / SFoL in an accurate and timely manner to ensure accurate stock.
• Carry out on‑the‑job training of new starters when fully trained and competent, necessary to further the development of the Department and the individual.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S.
• Generate ideas and participate in implementing improvements to the Department.
