My client is an accountancy practice specializing in helping owner-managed businesses achieve their goals.
Job roles and responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Production of limited company year-end accounts to trial balance stage.
- Production of draft corporate tax returns.
- Preparation and review of Self-Assessment tax returns, including income from property, investments, employment, and sole trades.
- Monitoring and assisting with junior members of staff.
- Preparation and review of client VAT returns.
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding compliance issues and tax enquiries.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- AAT Qualified (Preferred)
- Experience with Xero (Preferred)
- Experienced in preparation of micro-entity and small company accounts
- Experience of dealing directly with clients (telephone, email, and in person)
Additional Details:
- 37.5 hours per week - 9-5 Monday to Friday.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus a birthday off each year.
- Additional days’ holiday for each year of service (capped at 5).
