An exciting opportunity to join the Anthropologie European buying team as the Bags/Soft Accessories and Beauty Buyer, reporting to the Buying Manager for Womenswear. We seek an experienced buyer with creative flair to develop a compelling product offer, always prioritising the customer to deliver a balanced and exciting range. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is ambitious, self-motivated, and dynamic.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage class assortment, OTB, range planning, IMU goals, and attribute balancing, with a focus on Bags experience.
  • Trade and react swiftly to market changes while maintaining a consistent product offer.
  • Implement focused strategies across both long and short lead departments, including presenting to senior management.
  • Grow direct business and identify market potential.
  • Drive business goals through seasonal initiatives.
  • Build ranges from own brand products sourced from the US and develop the UK product mix, working closely with vendors to create innovative designs.
  • Source a diverse and inclusive product range.
  • Champion sustainability and align growth with brand strategy.
  • Manage the team to ensure smooth critical path execution, including retail strategies and marketing support.
  • Conduct sales analysis and implement strategies with planning to meet budget goals.
  • Stay aware of trends, develop, and source products and brands that fit Anthropologie’s aesthetic.
  • React to changing market demands.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales meetings and assortment reviews.
  • Collaborate on additional brand-level tasks to meet business objectives from a product and delivery perspective.
  • Work closely with global partners to leverage opportunities.
  • Represent the brand with integrity and authority as a true brand ambassador.
  • Travel to the US-based head office as needed, including EU travel.
