ACR is collaborating with a successful House Builder located in Cambridge, seeking to hire a Buyer or Senior Buyer to join their team.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing material tenders for projects.
- Managing supplier accounts, including raising payments, reviewing and assessing price increases, and preparing and settling final accounts.
- Reviewing and procuring material requests where appropriate.
- Conducting detailed package review meetings and driving value engineering opportunities for design and scope information.
- Managing the financial aspects of the material budget for projects.
- Identifying and establishing appropriate products to enhance business efficiency.
- Attending design team meetings and reviewing drawing changes.
- Implementing the buying function in line with the company's Commercial Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Producing valuation reports to monitor cost movements and reporting to the Board of Directors quarterly.
