The Role: We seek a digitally savvy HR Operations Specialist to provide top-tier HR support to employees and managers across the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle, leveraging a tech-forward, automation-driven approach. You will support daily operations, enhance employee experience, and collaborate with the HR Expert on formal processes and documentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to embed AI and automation into HR functions.
What You’ll Do:
- HR Administration & Lifecycle Support: Manage onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and documentation workflows. Maintain employee records in Workday with a focus on accuracy and compliance (GDPR, audit). Coordinate case documentation for Employee Relations processes alongside the HR Expert.
- AI-Driven Process Optimization: Identify manual tasks suitable for automation with AI tools. Utilize platforms like Greenhouse, Workday, and Metaview to streamline admin tasks and generate insights. Collaborate with HR Operations and Tech teams to pilot and implement AI tools to improve employee experience and reduce administrative burdens.
- Data & Reporting: Create reports and dashboards on HR metrics (headcount, attrition, contract changes, ER activity). Support trend analysis and data storytelling to inform HR decision-making.
- SOPs & Continuous Improvement: Update and maintain SOPs for UK & Ireland HR processes, integrating AI functionalities where applicable. Work collaboratively to standardize scalable, tech-enabled HR practices.
Who You Are: 2–3 years experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or People Admin, ideally in a mid-to-large or matrixed organization. Experience with Workday or similar HRIS, emphasizing data reliability and accuracy. Familiarity with tools like Greenhouse and automation bots; enthusiasm for using them. Curious, solution-focused, and adept at resolving admin and process pain points. Committed to accuracy, consistency, and delivering excellent employee experiences. Basic understanding of UK employment law and GDPR; Ireland experience is a bonus.
