Job Description:
- Mandatory Certification: Any Industrial Certification
To provide L3 coverage for the Trade Surveillance Case Managers and associated products. This will involve working independently as well as collectively within the wider L3 function within Trade Surveillance to investigate, diagnose, and provide answers and solutions in a timely fashion on production issues. The main technologies used are Oracle, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaSpark, and HIVE.
Responsibilities Include:
- Communicating with the wider L3 function on daily standups around issues and their remediations.
- Working with GPA L1 and other L3 colleagues to triage, investigate, and resolve production issues.
- Resolving production issues independently where possible.
- Reporting status on issues to management with part responsibility on reducing them over the longer term.
- Working with the development teams where required for more complex issues to fix production issues.
- Monitoring and resolving any production blockages, i.e., data pipeline flows.
- Working with the wider team to ensure runbooks are up to date and actionable.
- Understanding ongoing work and its effects on the products and guiding teams on ways to improve production stability.
- Ownership of issues.
